In 2014, Automattic (where I currently work), started to work, as a company, on facilitating spaces for discussions about diversity at Automattic. And at our 2016 annual gathering of all of our employees from over 50 countries, we decided to share what we are doing about diversity and inclusion with the rest of the world.
As a part of this effort, Automattic had started a series of interviews with its employees on what it takes to get to and work at the company. I got a chance to be interviewed as well – here is my piece:
